Harney County, Oregon is in the remote High Desert region of the Oregon frontier. The community has seen its share of challenges as one of the largest and most remote counties in the country and consisting of over 75% public land.
Yet Harney also contains some of the most beautiful and untouched scenery known to man, not to mention a plethora of amazing community assets including historic Downtown Burns, the Steens Mountain Wilderness, the Alvord Desert, the Malheur Wildlife Refuge, a host of Natural Hot Springs, and over 1.5 million acres of ranch lands.
Our team developed a strategic brand framework and visual identity In collaboration with the High Desert Partnership, establishing Harney as an inspirational frontier community that is leading its region with solutions to a range of economic, environmental, and social challenges inherent to frontier living.
In addition to the brand development and a marketing plan, our content producers spent 5 days capturing interviews and stunning content for this brand identity video, which communicates a compelling community identity and a spirited vision for Harney County’s future.
